I'm Head of IT at JCW Energy Services, a facilities management company. For nearly 20 years, I've built and scaled IT with FM from the ground up - navigating everything from bespoke platform development to AI.

Most of my time is spent "in the weeds" of digital transformation; building systems and processes that actually stick, shipping technology that field teams will actually use, and making sure the investment in innovation actually delivers.

Having worked in FM technology for over two decades, I've come to love the unique challenges. It's complex, asset-heavy, consolidating fast, and desperately needs IT leadership that understands the business, not just the technology. Technology is a business enabler, but it can't be implemented without people - the real value is where people and technology meet, each delivering on their strengths.
